SCOPE OF SERVICE

• Adequate CRNA staffing ratios
• Full anesthesia coverage during normal business hours
• Anesthesia department scheduling
• Anesthesia service coding and billing
• Peer review program for anesthesia services
• Anesthesia policy and procedure development and maintenance
• Anesthesia orientation coordination
• Compliance education and training for CRNA staff
• Committee memberships as appropriate
• Anesthesia staff education on relevant issues
• CRNAs are independent contractors and will provide their own liability insurance in accordance with facility bylaws
• Recruitment and retention
• Acute pain management as needed
• Perform pre and post anesthetic assessments as per facility policy
